Dave Nielsen - A biographical sketch

David Nielsen is a visionary, an innovator and a gifted conceptual thinker. He has over 25 years experience as money manager, trader and now financial coach to individuals and businesses alike. David has written articles for numerous publications and is a featured financial columnist in The Business Ledger.

His vision led to the founding of Big Wave Advisors. David’s belief in giving investors truly unbiased answers to their financial questions is evident in all areas of the company.

No-product, sales-free financial advice is the cornerstone of the Financial Reality Checksm , Financial Second Opinionsm , and Financial Coaching Systemsm products. All are designed to give an individual the complete range of options they won’t find in a typical sales and product based financial planning service.

David is actively involved in the Market Technicians Association and the Strategic Coach Program. He is past president of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and Wheaton Rotary Noon Club.

David is married to Sandy, his partner in business and in life. They jointly own Big Wave Advisors with offices in Wheaton, where they reside with their three children.
